1. Promoter 

The promoter is Philip Morris Limited, ABN 65 004 694 428, of Level 5, 30 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf, Victoria 3006 (Promoter). 

2. Acceptance of terms 

By entering this competition, each entrant agrees to these Terms and Conditions. 

3. Competition period 

The competition opens at 10am on 16th September 2026 and closes at 6pm on 7th October 2026 (Competition Period). 

Entries received outside the Competition Period will not be accepted. 

4. Eligibility 

Entry is open to individuals who: 

  1. are aged 18 years or older; 

  1. ordinarily reside in New South Wales; 

  1. are available to participate in the Bondi to Manly Ultra Marathon on 24th October 2026; 

  1. are able to nominate a team of four people, including the entrant, with each team member aged 18 years or older; 

  1. satisfy the event organiser’s eligibility, registration and participation requirements; and 

  1. are not an employee, officer, contractor or immediate family member of an employee, officer or contractor of the Promoter, the event organiser, or an agency directly involved in conducting or judging the competition. 

The Promoter may require reasonable evidence of age, identity and NSW residency before confirming the prize. 

5. How to enter 

To enter, an eligible entrant must, during the Competition Period: 

  1. visit the competition webpage 

  1. provide their name, email address and confirmation that they are at least 18 years old; 

  1. answer the following question in 100 words or fewer: 

“How can your team represent Neuro at the Bondi to Manly Ultra Marathon?”; and 

  1. submit the completed entry form. 

No purchase is necessary. Entry is free, although normal internet access costs may apply. 

Only one entry per person and per proposed team is permitted. The person submitting the entry will be treated as the proposed team captain and must have the permission of the other proposed team members to nominate them. 

6. Entry requirements 

Each entry must: 

  • be the entrant’s original work; 

  • not contain false, misleading, offensive, unlawful or inappropriate material; 

  • not infringe another person’s copyright, trade mark, privacy, publicity or other rights; 

  • not include unapproved or misleading claims concerning Neuro or any Neuro product; 

  • not depict unsafe conduct; and 

  • otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions. 

The Promoter may reject an entry that does not comply with these requirements. 

7. Game of skill 

This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. 

Eligible entries will be judged on: 

  • originality and creativity; 

  • how effectively the answer explains the team’s suitability to represent Neuro; 

  • alignment with an active and responsible lifestyle; 

  • demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to participating as a relay team; and 

  • the overall quality of the response. 

The judging will occur on 8th October 2026 at 33 Cremorne St, Cremorne, by the Promoter. 

If two or more entries are assessed equally, those entries will be reassessed against the above criteria until one highest-ranked entry is identified. No random draw will be used to resolve a tie. 

8. Provisional winning team 

The entrant who submits the highest-ranked entry will be the provisional winner and proposed team captain. 

The provisional winner must, within two business days after being contacted: 

  1. nominate the other three team members; 

  1. provide the information reasonably required to register the complete team; 

  1. confirm that every team member is at least 18 years old and satisfies these Terms and Conditions; 

  1. obtain each team member’s agreement to these Terms and Conditions; 

  1. confirm that all team members are available to participate on the event date; and 

  1. complete any registration, release or other documentation reasonably required by the Promoter or event organiser. 

If these requirements are not satisfied within the specified period, the Promoter may select the next highest-ranked eligible entry. 

9. Prize 

The prize is for one winning relay team of four people and comprises: 

  1. one relay-team entry for four people in the Bondi to Manly Ultra Marathon; and 

  1. one Neuro-branded running set for each team member to wear at the event. 

  1. one year’s supply of Neuro Energy Gum to each team member (equal to 10x Neuro Energy Gum 54-piece packs in Spearmint, and 10x Neuro Energy Gum 54-piece packs in Peppermint). 

The total indicative prize value is approximately AUD $4,396. 

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the prize does not include: 

  • travel to or from the event; 

  • accommodation; 

  • meals; 

  • training expenses; 

  • insurance; 

  • equipment other than the supplied running sets; or 

  • any other incidental expense. 

The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash, except where required by law. If a component is unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a component of reasonably equivalent value, subject to applicable law. 

10. Winner notification and announcement 

The provisional winner will be contacted by email on or before 9th October 2026. 

The winning team may be announced on the Neuro website and Neuro social-media channels approximately two weeks before the event, after eligibility has been verified and each team member has accepted the prize. 

The announcement should be limited to information disclosed in the privacy notice and accepted by each team member, such as first name, surname initial, suburb and team name. 

11. Participation and conduct 

Each winning team member must: 

  • comply with the event organiser’s rules, directions and registration requirements; 

  • determine whether they are physically capable of participating and obtain medical advice where appropriate; 

  • behave safely and responsibly; 

  • wear the supplied running set during the event, where reasonably required and permitted by the event organiser; 

  • not make unauthorised claims about Neuro or its products; 

  • not engage in conduct likely to damage the reputation of the Promoter, Neuro or the event; and 

  • comply with reasonable event-day directions from the Promoter and event organiser. 

Participation in an endurance event carries inherent risks. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts any consumer guarantee, statutory guarantee or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. 

12. Event changes or cancellation 

The race is operated by an independent event organiser. 

If the event is postponed, materially changed or cancelled for reasons outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may modify, postpone or cancel the competition or prize, subject to applicable law. 

The Promoter is not responsible for decisions made by the event organiser, including any refusal or cancellation of a participant’s registration, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded. 

13. Intellectual property in entries 

The entrant retains ownership of their entry. 

The entrant grants the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce and use the entry for the purpose of administering, judging and announcing the competition. 

Any broader advertising use of an entrant’s submission should be subject to a separate approval or release from the entrant. 

14. Photographs and publicity 

As a condition of accepting the prize, each team member may be asked to participate in reasonable photography, filming or publicity connected with the competition, the event and the Neuro partnership. 

Before using a team member’s name, image, voice or statements in advertising or promotional material, the Promoter will obtain an appropriate written release setting out the permitted uses, channels, territories and duration. 

Declining material publicity obligations that were clearly disclosed as part of the prize may affect a provisional winner’s ability to accept the prize. 

15. Verification and disqualification 

The Promoter may verify an entrant’s eligibility and entry details. 

The Promoter may disqualify an entrant or team member who: 

  • submits incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information; 

  • tampers with the entry process; 

  • acts fraudulently or dishonestly; 

  • breaches these Terms and Conditions; 

  • cannot satisfy the event’s participation requirements; or 

  • behaves in a manner that is unsafe, unlawful or materially damaging to the competition, event or associated brands. 

16. General 

If circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control affect the fair or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter may modify, suspend or cancel the competition, subject to applicable law. 

Any failure by the Promoter to enforce a provision does not waive that provision. 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales. Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. 

Privacy notice:  Philip Morris Limited collects your name, contact details, eligibility information and competition response to administer and judge this competition, verify eligibility, contact the provisional winner and publicise the result. If you do not provide the required information, we may not be able to accept or assess your entry. We may disclose relevant information to our service providers, promotional agencies and the Bondi to Manly Ultra event organiser where reasonably necessary to conduct the competition and deliver the prize. Our Privacy Policy explains how you may access or correct your personal information and make a privacy complaint. Information may be disclosed to overseas recipients as described in our Privacy Policy. Competition information will not be used for direct marketing unless you provide separate consent.
